Note from designer

I noticed how often men allowed themselves to put their hand on my lower back, and how upsetting and powerless it made me feel. As I was about to finish a pair of pants I was working on, I had the striking revelation that the back of the pants had to be lower to reveal the same part I felt vulnerable about. It’s only when I wore them that I realized showing my vulnerability made me feel stronger. A man never put his hand on my lower back again.
